Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once Casesgg opened, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be used and an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
